To prevent spam and assure quality, editors must have accounts. To get one, first go to the Robocars Blog User Registration and create an account, then wait for me to give it Wiki editing privileges. You don't need to read or use the blog, but if you do comment on it, being logged in gives you an authenticated name and the ability to edit your comments.
When creating pages about teams, companies and products, the “+” ICON in the editing toolbar lets you select templates for those sorts of pages. Please follow those outlines.
Avoid editing pages about yourself or your company. Send it to another independent contributor to enter. You can correct minor errors but steer clear of marketing or PR changes. Feel free to enter basic publicly known facts, like what sensors you use, funding data etc. Do not delete other's facts even if you think they were secret.
The goal is
not to duplicate Wikipedia. If a topic is well covered there, use the
Interwiki syntax
[[wp>topic]]
to link there, and add Robocar specific details on the page here.
Make sure you have full rights to insert any images, and attribute them. Images from company press kits are generally OK with attribution.
Editorial opinions of companies and issues can be included but it should be clear what they are and they must be signed. Consider putting them on a side page you link to.
